The resort is just ten minutes by car from Murcia (San Javier) airport with daily flights from the UK. The location on the Costa Calida is superb for family and golf holidays. It is just moments away from miles of safe sandy beaches of the warm Mar Menor waters. The resort is close to two cities, Murcia the capital of the region and the port of Cartagena.

 

The Great Pool, the Little Sea... the so-called Mar Menor (Minor Sea) has been known by different names during the course of its history, all of which have described this singular natural phenomenon: a great coastal lagoon (originally an open bay), 170 square kilometres of warm salt water, the largest saltwater lagoon in Europe.

 

This setting has everything you need for golf and water sports enthusiasts: great weather, a constant breeze, calm and shallow waters (less than seven metres at the deepest point)... there is no wonder it is considered one of Europe's best golf and sailing destinations. Water sports enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with sailing, canoeing, swimming, water skiing, jet-skiing, fly-surfing, windsurfing and every other type of nautical activity you can imagine. Golfers can play on the international stage at famous La Manga Golf Club.

 

Los Alcazares is a lovely Spanish town, cycle along the prom and enjoy cafe culture.

Nueva Ribera is part of a new private beach club, which will be complete with tennis court, boating marina when the development is completed in a years time.  Both apartments are in phase 1 which is complete and no building work is currently taking place or can be heard.
